Embossing refers to decorating another surface such as paper, plastic, cloth, various types of metal or leather by raised designs or symbols using embossing powder, dies, stamps, tools and embossing stencils. Embossing is a method of adding elegance and sensuality to any surface. Embossing is a technique that can make any surface beautiful than they originally are.

However, only a good quality of an embossing can create a good embossed object and a poor quality embossing can entirely kill the attraction of any object. Embossing is basically done for marking objects with significant information that wouldn’t easily be lost due to wear and tear over time. Metal Plate Embossing is normally done on metal materials like stainless steel, aluminium plates or tags. Metals to be used for embossing tools are determined by the shapes of images to be embossed and the lengths of the run.
